DRIVER RECRUITER
SummaryThe Driver Recruiter is responsible for recruitment of owner operators, experienced fleet owners, and lease purchase drivers and rehires.
Duties and Essential Job Functions o Exploring creative methods of sourcing qualified contractors.
Developing new sources of independent contractor candidates.
o Prospecting warm leads and cold calls to turn them into new contractors.
o Complete pre- hire files and paperwork on applications.
o Complete background checks including personal records, MVR, and DAC reports.
o Review and process applications of prospective contractors and determine if applicant is qualified.
o Assist with pre-contracting process for new contractors.
o Explain the company's operating policy and safety standards.
o Set up and manage travel arrangements for new hires.
o Performs other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experienceo Four year college degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience preferred.
o 3-5 years experience in a recruitment position o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong phone etiquette o Excellent interpersonal communication, customer service and organizational skills, o Strong negotiation, influencing and interviewing skillso Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) PI32980047-26289-afbbe610a8c0 Recommended Skills Coaching And Mentoring Communication Coordinating Customer Service Interpersonal Communications Microsoft Excel Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
